Event Description

A participative workshop exploring the question ‘How can we adjust our organisational practice to increase collective impact and serve the common interests, wealth and wellbeing?’

This will include a set of short presentations addressing different aspects of the challenge followed by open dialogue, allowing participants to organize into groups to explore aspects of the challenge of most interest to them.

Presentations include:

  • Ray Charlton on ‘What does it take to be a leader in the context of the commons?; How do we lead in a way that evokes participation and uncovers the deeper need so as to optimize collective contribution made’
  • Charles Bazlington author of ‘The Free Lunch’ on the commons and currently involved in setting up a community bank,
  • An overview of the Model of Sustainable Organisation.
  • Tony Brown, ex Director of Quality at BAe Systems on management processes for engaging everyone in contributing positively to the wider ‘system’

1.15 for 1.45 – 5.30pm and afterwards for networking & optional dinner in a local restaurant

The event is being organized by the Civil Society Forum in partnership with the School of Commoning
